How do we work?

We have established the following lines of work with schools and communities to achieve our institution goals

We provide technical advice to the educational community on the design and implementation of local development actions

We fund projects aimed at strengthening education and community processes in order to improve the quality of life of rural families.

We organize training workshops on school management issues.

We work in 14 provinces

ESCOLARES works with community organizations and rural schools –primary and secondary- in Misiones, Corrientes, Chaco, Formosa, Salta, Santa Fe, Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, Río Negro, Neuquén and Jujuy provinces.

A large proportion of schools and community organizations the foundation works with, are in very isolated sites, difficult to reach and with poor transport and communication services. In many of these sites, the sanitary conditions and health services are very precarious. The people living there exhibit high index of unmet needs, undernourishment and child mortality.
